Our Story

Casa Hechizos is a multi-generational family business. We are initiates and priestesses in the Lucumi Regla de Ocha practice, more commonly known as Santería: an Afro-Cuban religion that worships and honors the energies of the earth through prayer, singing and ritual. Through this journey, we not only built a strong spiritual foundation — we learned how to use spirituality to heal both individual and generational trauma.

Although non-Western healing practices have gained prominence in recent years, they have often been commodified and watered down. We started Casa Hechizos to provide the community with authentic, spiritually-sound products that promote holistic wellbeing. In doing so, we aim to destigmatize traditional BIPOC healing practices and bring liberation to Black, Brown and queer communities.
